How much does it cost to make a photocopy or 2? Well... let me tell you... basically... my manager asked for a photocopy of my IC as well as my bank book for the head office so that they could credit the pay to my account... right fair enough... but as i'm usually working full shifts and always rushing late for work... the only way tat was gonna happen was if i made the photocopies at paragon... so i trotted down to the basement during one of my toilet breaks... found a kodak shop to do my deeds... printed 2 sheets... one with a front n back of my IC... and the other with juz a shot of my bank book... how much? 60 cents came the reply... OH MY GAWD! for 2 sheets?! HOW COME was the cry... well... according to expert analysations... it's 20 cents for the bank book shot... and 40 cents for the IC shot! WHAT?! why 40 cents? i only used 1 sheet! ALTOGETHER ONLY 2 SHEETS OF PAPER LEH! well... the salesgirl's explanation was a very simple one... it's 40 cents coz i printed the FRONT & BACK of the IC... even if it was on the same side of the paper... My Gawd! i'm being ripped off in front of my very own eyes! KL Chan would nv do this to me! For the benefit of all those who dun know KL Chan... tat's the name of the shop at my market tat i usually do my photocopies at...

Met up with Jon over the weekend for lunch... after trading some NS stories we decided to head on down to Carl's junior for the munchies... he apparently wasn't feeling so hungry so it was juz me getting the meal... oh my goodness... i forgot how expensive this place was... my meal cost me a whopping 12 dollars... and this is fast food mind u... damn u american corporations...

I just want to mention something... the queue outside aston's is fantastic... even when they haven't open shop for the day... aston is this restaurant in Katong that sells western food at awfully cheap prices and hence the queue... the queue during dinner is even more fantastic... the kind u'd mistake tat next day is TOTO $10 million draw like tat... can compare with the donut queue at raffles city... incredible ain't it?

Been practising what i can do with my drinks at the workplace... dun have the right tools at the moment to create more elaborate designs with the foam... will try to take some photos whenever i can of wat i can do at the moment..
