No More Tears
No sunshine, no moonlight, no stardust, no sign of romance, and I won't waste another tear. If you've had enough, don't put up with his stuff, don't you do it. Now if you've had your fill, get the check, pay the bill, you can do it. Tell him to just get out, nothing left to talk about, pack his raincoat, show him out,
just look him in the eye and simply shout: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, I can't go on no more, I want him out, I want him out that door now. I always dreamed I'd find the perfect lover, but he turned out to be like every other man I loved.
She cried the day the circus came to town, cos' she didn't want just parades passin' by her. So she painted a smile and took up with some clown while she danced without a net upon the wire.
I know a lot about her cos' you see, she's an awful lot like me.
She saw that when he pulled that big top down, he left behind her dreams among the litter, the different kind of love she thought she'd found. However, there was nothing left but sawdust and glitter. Don't cry out loud, just keep it inside, learn how to hide your feelings. Fly high and proud, and if you should fall, remember you almost had it all.
