Saturday evening... there i was... loud n proud in my City jersey with Mr Tay in his gooners top... we were right smack in the middle of the "AWAY" section of the pub for the derby match between United n City... unsurprisingly... we were the only ones in that section... One Ang Moh was so fascinated with us (could be coz a City n Arsenal fan were sitting together) tat he took our picture... back to the match n it wasn't to be for my beloved team... United absolutely humbled City... Already down 1-0 so early in the game City still din offer much to really get back into the game... yes they pulled one back to make it 2-1... but tat 2nd goal was never gonna come n United instead scored a 3rd and it was curtains for City... the gulf in class all over the park was evident... from defence to attack... we're juz not good enough... although i still harbour dreams of europe... it looks increasingly harder by the day with the current core of players available... Ivan n I stayed on for the 2nd match which featured Tottenham and Charlton... Ivan was hoping for a Charlton win as Arsenal and Tottenham are rivals... but again it wasn't to be as Tottenham whipped Charlton 5-1... in Ivan's words... it was a bad jersey day... to add to our misery... the taunting we suffered from the United fans was humiliating... ahhh... xing thia ka beh see ah!

Met up with a few familiar faces on Sunday... Arun was back in Singapore after over 10 months for a short visit and "the group" met up for some high tea... or beer... anyway... it was good to see him again after so long... we used to hangout a lot during our poly days but kinda drifted apart during the latter stages... but still... it was good to catch up with him and the rest who i myself haven't seen in ages either... even Woan Ni was there... was really like reunion sia... brought back a sense of nostalgia... oh memories...
