Where is K27 & K28?

When you come back down
If you land on your feet
I hope you find a way to make it back to me
When you come around
I'll be there for you
Don't have to be alone with what you're going through

Started reading the Count of monte cristo again… guess it’s one of those classics which u juz can’t put down... how dantes was betrayed… how revenge is so sweet… how he rises from the “dead”… all the ingredients to make a classic book… my dad loves to read… he loves it so much tat I would even dare say he cud open a library if he wanted to… books on religion… motivational books… suspense thrillers… they juz fill the shelves… but I’ve not read a single one of them to be honest… maybe it’s coz I dun have the patience to actually finish a book… I had actually borrowed a LOTR book from my friend to read but ended re-watching the movies all over again… oh pls tell me there are other pple out there juz like me!

“Operator! Give me the number for 911!”

Was out with Terisa on sunday n we went to watch this movie entitled Mandalay. They din sell tickets at the box office for this coz it was part of the International Film Festival. Only one screening time and each ticket cost 9 bucks. It was screened at Shaw Towers in “Prince” theatre. Have never actually been inside their cinema b4 but when I went in… WOW… it’s huge! I mean… the amount of seating inside here easily beat the other big shots like GV n Eng Wah. In any case, we even got lost trying to find our seat. So lost that the movie started while we were still trying to look for our places. Indeed we found them, but when we did, we found tat there actually were people already sitting in our seats. To be sure, we asked the usher for help. He was this ah pek who din seem to know much about the cinema’s seating arrangements to be honest. Nevertheless, he gave the ten year series kind of answer to our question on where is K27 n K28. “You see here K20 rite… then u count lohz” Brilliant! As if we needed this genius to teach us how to count. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HINT UNCLE! Anywayz… the movie was rather depressing yes but a very powerful film abt how African-Americans lived in a time when they were either slaves or looked down on. Now I can understand why this film was part of the International Film Festival. Hoping for more quality films then!

All the best for ur grad show Jon… know that this has probably been one of the most stressful of weeks for you coz of the wrong things happening at the wrong time. You’ll pull thru. You always have. In any case, I’ll try and pop by this Friday if I can yeah? Know that it’ll be one smashing show.
