a fren of mine asked me... hey jon... wat do u intend to do after army? when we were all younger... the classic answers... got doctor lahz... lawyer lahz... scholar lahz... actor lahz... indian chief lahz... got many kinds... but seriously... were they for real or juz another one of those childhood fantasies? of course when u ask a boy wat he wants to be when he grows up... he'll shoot u back wif those answers like... i want to be rich man... i wanna be boss... i want to be hero... i want be gangster... alrite alrite... its not wrong to wanna be someone... but will u be tat someone... let me tell ya something... when i wuz way much younger... i wanted to be a lot of things... i had wanted to be a football player... i had wanted to be a pilot... i had wanted to be a farkin DJ man... but heyz... none of them ever materialised... ask me now... go ahead! ask me!... come on jon... wat do u intend to do after army? wow... tats a gd question... i dun know man... i'm lost... i always tot... after army juz work... earn money... settle down then take care of family... i'll soon have a diploma from tourism management if all goes according to plan... but jon... wat are u gonna be to accomplish tat plan? waiter? tats all u're gd for... barrista? ur one not according to standard lahz... travel agent? everything's online now... event planner? u cannot make it lahz boy... tour guide? in my hawaiian shirt n slippers? oh bloody fantastic!.. wat am i to do? dammit... more white hairs... let me look down my CV... well... i've got experience in F&B... and.... and... only F&B... i've been at baker's inn for more than 2 yrs already... and half a yr at burke's coffee b4 tat... oh man... is this really wat i'm meant to do... underpaid at irregular hrs?
