During one of my sundays when i had to book in real early... my squad went trekking at MacRitchie Reservoir... for wat? i dun know? maybe get in touch wif our naturous side... CRAP! superbly boring i must say... imagine walking 15km... without a purpose... all we did was juz walk... monkeys over here... n walk... joggers over there... n keep on walking ( johnnie walker )... as u might or might not know... the area is a place for morning joggers to breathe in the fresh air and test their stamina by running on the long n winding track... and now... imagine tat with 100 sweaty trainees... walking along the same path u're running and in a disorderly manner... yes... tat was the scene tat sunday... and did u know... if u decide to take a stroll over there... once u like hit midpoint... there's no such thing as turning back... it's like... there's no shortcut back to the entrance kind of thing... either u finish the damn path or hope some kind soul gets the rangers to save u... interesting eh?

I was at this Samsung shop in town quite recently coz i wanted to get myself a battery for my old but nv out of fashion nokia 8210 phone... b4 tat i had already been to a couple of places to inquire abt the prices and they ranged from 40-50 bucks... a bit out of my price range so juz sorta wanted to try my luck n so i inquired abt the price at this shop... the woman at the counter told me it was 50 bucks... i then told her thanx n was abt to leave the shop... she called me back n told me they were having a 10% discount... still quite out of my price range i tot... thanx but nevermind i said... she then told me she could even further reduce the price... at this point of time i was already thinking... juz how much is the damn thing??? i shook my head again n told her nevermind... she then called out to me again like as though she was trying to sell me a savings plan... she then asked how much do i expect to pay for the battery... now u're asking me to name my price? wait wait... i tot this was a samsung shop... not urs lady... if u can sell it to me at the price i name... wun u be making a loss? when cons get desperate... they really get careless...

While i was out wif terisa... we were approached by this african man... or at least i think he was... he asked if we were christians... man... is he gonna preach to us? i hope not... yes i replied him... hoping tat he wud go away after tat... oh really? which church?... terisa answered new creation... tats wonderful he says... he then took a book out from his bag... i now realised he wasn't gonna preach... he was trying to sell us something... he then went on abt how he wrote this book called the tormenting place... yes... a christian writing abt a place of torment... now why is tat? it wasn't even really a book to begin with... he din even write anything... it was like a 10 page brochure which had bible passages inside... and to ensure authenticity... he showed us the back cover which had a picture of the author... an african who he ensured was himself... but i couldn't be too sure... i wonder why... he then came out with the classic line... my book is 10 dollars... u buy from me and God will bless u... ermmm... so wat now? are u saying if i dun buy ur book God wun bless me? we then told him we weren't interested... he then gave this murderous look to us like as though we'd be going to hell coz we din buy ur stuff... wohhh... tormenting place? looks like u came from there...
